this gold panda remix/rework/redraw of “marriage” takes the song to great new heights. while the original sets the scene of a celebration of two lovers’ friends and families rejoicing their union, the forest swords redraw paints the same scene at 1 am as all the guests sing their drunken hymns together in the background. a sense of intimacy is brought to the foreground especially with the use of guitars and voices rather than bright synths and big beats. this is a great note to end any night on.
