It’s 2016 and as the floodgates have been opened up for new sounds and ideas, any ties to convention seem distant in the rear view. It’s a post-Arca world, and Dasychira is a student of the new school. A 20-year old South African now living in NYC, this mix serves as his statement of intent & introduction, featuring all original productions. Dasychira makes alien club music from the future, turning his back to the current landscape and carving his own ground. Above all, Dasychira is a sound sculptor, twisting and warping found sounds, mainstream rap, and his own voice beyond recognition and into something almost intangible yet personal.
